Four-Day Farmers Market Festival Launches in Turaif

The four-day Farmers' Market Festival in Turaif Governorate, organized by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture branch in Northern Borders Region, kicked off yesterday with participation from various government and private entities.

 The festival aims to support local farmers and families working in the cottage industry by creating sales outlets to market the governorate's agricultural products. Featured sections display regional dates, fresh fruits, vegetables, honey, and traditional food items, helping increase the economic value of national goods.

 In addition to the market stalls, the event hosts awareness programs focused on sustainable agricultural practices and food security. The ministry has invited residents and visitors to attend the festival to support local producers and promote the consumption of national products.
