Several Madinah Bus Routes to Become Shuttle Services Starting Ramadan 26

The Madinah Bus Project, overseen by the Al Madinah Region Development Authority, has announced that several public transport routes will be converted to shuttle services starting Sunday, Ramadan 26, to accommodate the anticipated influx of worshippers and visitors during the final days of Ramadan.

 Project officials said that the converted routes will include 230, 231, 290, 291, 390, 391, 450, 490, and 590. The adjustment aims to improve the efficiency of the public transport system and enhance service capacity during peak hours in the last 10 days of the holy month.

 Transitioning these routes to shuttle bus services will facilitate the movement of worshippers and visitors heading to the Prophet’s Mosque and Quba Mosque. It will also help regulate passenger flow, easing traffic congestion in the central area and surrounding locations.
