Madinah Hosts MED Ai Forum to Promote Innovation and Investment
AlMadinah AlMunawarah Chamber, in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, will organize the MED Ai forum from October 12 to 14, 2026, at the chamber’s headquarters. The forum will bring together specialists, enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, and innovators, focusing on using technology to advance development.
The forum aims to showcase the latest artificial intelligence (AI) applications and technologies, raise awareness of them and encourage their adoption, and open new avenues for investment and innovation, in line with Saudi Arabia’s drive toward the digital economy and technological transformation and contributing to the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
AlMadinah AlMunawarah Chamber Secretary-General Ahmed Zaidan said the forum will include an AI boot camp and hackathon to develop innovative solutions across three tracks: sports, agriculture, and tourism, with up to 110 participants.
The forum will also feature nine applied AI labs designed to provide educational and hands-on experiences, familiarize participants with emerging applications, and develop practical skills through direct experience.
It will also include technology and investment exhibitions for major companies and startups to showcase AI solutions and technologies, innovative ideas and products, explore partnership and investment opportunities, and connect startups with investors and partners.
The forum will feature an “Investment Arena” to connect startups and entrepreneurs with investors, showcase promising projects and their investment potential, and provide opportunities to sign investment agreements and memoranda of understanding.
The forum targets 12 key sectors, including tourism, industry, mining, and health, and aims to attract more than 5,000 beneficiaries, conclude 20 partnerships and agreements, and present investment opportunities in AI and its applications.
The forum is being organized to coincide with the Year of Artificial Intelligence 2026, underscoring AI’s importance in innovation and economic growth and supporting the adoption and use of its technologies across sectors, thereby enhancing development and innovation opportunities in Madinah Region.
