Integrated Services for Visitors Reflect Efforts During First 20 Days of Ramadan

Services provided to visitors of the Two Holy Mosques recorded significant figures during the first twenty days of Ramadan 1447 AH, reflecting the continuous efforts made to serve worshippers and pilgrims and facilitate the performance of their worship in an atmosphere of security and tranquility.
The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque stated that the consumption of Zamzam water at the two holy mosques reached 25,933 cubic meters as part of providing the blessed water through various distribution points inside the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque and their courtyards. It explained that guidance services were provided to more than 913,715 beneficiaries through field teams and guidance points that direct visitors and respond to their inquiries in multiple languages.
Regarding services for fasting individuals, the authority said 14,841,600 iftar meals were distributed in the courtyards and prayer areas of the two holy mosques as part of an integrated system to organize and facilitate iftar arrangements for fasting visitors.
At the Grand Mosque, more than 61,782 beneficiaries used the ritual hair-cutting (tahallul) service, provided at designated locations operating under high health and organizational standards. Additionally, 96,021 people benefited from mobility cart services designated for Umrah performers, the elderly, and persons with disabilities, ensuring ease of movement within the Grand Mosque and facilitating the performance of rituals.
The authority affirmed that these figures reflect the scale of the efforts made to provide integrated services for visitors to the two holy mosques during Ramadan, in line with the high numbers of visitors and to enhance the quality of services provided to pilgrims.
