Islamic Coalition Announces Cameroon As New Member State
The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) announced the official accession of the Republic of Cameroon as its 43rd member state. This step reflects a growing commitment to combating terrorism and enhancing regional and international security and stability.
An official ceremony was held at IMCTC's headquarters in Riyadh, where the flag of Cameroon was raised alongside those of the 42 member states.
The accession ceremony was attended by IMCTC Secretary-General Maj. Gen. Mohammed Al-Moghedi, Cameroon's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Iya Tidjani, and numerous officials and representatives from member states.
