Riyadh Economic Forum Supports Decision-Making, Enhances Comprehensive Development Pathways

Riyadh Economic Forum is an important strategic center for supporting decision-making and a vital contributor to advancing comprehensive development pathways. Since its launch in 2003, the forum has established a unique methodology that ensures the sustainability of its impact and opens new horizons for strengthening integrated public-private sector partnerships in support of national development objectives.

The five studies to be presented during its current edition represent a new link in this development path, outlining promising practical directions that support comprehensive development plans and the building of a sustainable future economy.

A study exploring ways to maximize the economic and social returns from Saudi Arabia's hosting of Expo 2030 Riyadh and the FIFA World Cup 2034 looks ahead to future opportunities. It focuses on maximizing the expected returns from these events by developing their associated value chains.

Another study examines the impact of traffic congestion in Saudi Arabia's major cities, including its economic and environmental effects. It presents practical alternatives aimed at improving the efficiency of the transportation system, enhancing the competitiveness of Saudi cities, and improving quality of life.

A third study examines strategies for transferring and localizing knowledge and expertise and their impact on organizational performance. It analyzes current knowledge transfer practices in the business environment with the aim of developing practical frameworks that enhance the efficiency of knowledge exchange and establish a culture of institutional excellence. These efforts are expected to positively affect the performance and competitiveness of Saudi organizations.

Another study focuses on promoting the use of smart agricultural technologies, including artificial intelligence and other impactful technologies, to achieve water and food security. It examines the growing challenges associated with water scarcity and increasing food demand while exploring available opportunities in the field.
