KSrelief, UN Women Conclude Women's Protection Project in Aden
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), in partnership with UN Women, concluded the "Protecting Women Leads to Societal Development" project in Aden, focusing on strengthening institutional capacity and providing direct support services to vulnerable women and girls in Yemen.
Key achievements include training 325 staff members from 69 government and civil society organizations in gender-based violence case management and psychosocial support. Additionally, the project operated four community protection centers in Taiz, Mocha, and Aden, benefiting 19,582 women and girls. These centers delivered over 12,000 psychosocial sessions, over 3,000 legal consultations, and facilitated more than 1,000 referrals to specialized services.
