Makkah Development Authority, Tourism Ministry Sign MoU to Boost Tourism Development

Makkah Development Authority and the Ministry of Tourism signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at enhancing cooperation and integration, supporting the development of the tourism sector in the region, and improving the efficiency of planning and implementing joint initiatives and projects.
 The MoU includes cooperation in preparing studies to activate and rehabilitate tourism sites in Makkah Region, as well as exchanging geospatial data and linking databases, contributing to urban planning and enhancing decision-making efficiency.
 Areas of cooperation also include building national capabilities through joint training programs, cooperating in planning and developing the sector's workforce, implementing community and volunteer initiatives and events, supporting the non-profit tourism sector in Makkah Region, and enhancing media cooperation and highlighting the region's tourism potential.
